This site was inspired by my actor coming home from work one day and leaving a 4 litre jug of stage blood on the table, next to the milk. It dawned on me that this isn’t the kind of thing that happens in most households. That started me thinking about the various fabulous things associated with living with an actor. Created with Love.
Living with an Actor is your guide to the care, feeding, and maintenance enjoyment of your actor.
Actors come in all shapes and sizes, of various pedigrees & personal habits.
But they all have one thing in common. They Love You Darling!
That’s because:
- You’re at home holding down the fort while they’re working the boards or shooting a Movie of the Week.
- You’re keeping things on an even keel while they navigate the treacherous waters of a new script or cutting edge TV series.
- You’re sorting the recycling while they’re searching for just the right thing to wear to yet another opening night party.
- And you’re at home watching re-runs while they tour (name a province/state of your choice) for weeks on end, making hundreds of dollars a month, all of which are eaten up by the phone bills.
They’re funny, they’re entertaining, and they’re a lot of work. But caring for an actor doesn’t have to be tedious or annoying. It can be fun rewarding interesting a unique experience you’ll want to tell your friends about (usually over one too many beer).
